Surprisingly the most expensive 2 year MBA is not being sold by Harvard or Wharton – instead it is MIT Sloan Business School that has the most expensive MBA priced at over $120,000. Now this is only the tuition fee; it does not include any living or maintenance costs. MIT being in Boston is an expensive place to live in. You can expect to pay anywhere between $35,000 and $45,000 for two years for your living expenses.
Moreover these costs do not include the cost of “global study tours” or “global immersion program”. These can cost from $5000 to $15,000 for two years. So on average expect to pay between $180,000 $200,000 at a top business school for a 2 year MBA. For Pakistani standards (in fact for any standards) this is a significant amount of money to invest on your MBA degree – however in Pakistan most of the top corporate companies send there middle management to do their MBA at these programs.
