FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Does your GMAT preparation course in Islamabad and Rawalpindi cover every section that is tested on the actual test?

GMAT basically has 3 major portions: Quantitative (Math), Verbal (English), Data Insights (Graphs, charts and other figures). Our course covers each of these in great depth. In fact, our course goes above and beyond the core concepts and touches advanced techniques to solve extremely tricky questions.

In what aspects is your GMAT prep course unique?

In addition to the highest instruction caliber, our course focuses on the GMAT concepts along with the shortcuts and strategies that save a lot of time. The content also offers you a chance to consolidate what you have learned in class by practicing hundreds of questions.

How will I be able to get my preparation material for the GMAT program?

Once you register for any one of our preparation programs, you will receive a set of materials that contain the following:

  1. Access to a personal online account where you will find all the practice questions for the GMAT.
  2. Soft copies of the lectures along with the class activities and exercises.
  3. Access to daily quizzes and weekly assignments.
What is a typical workload that I should expect for the duration of this course?

The workload is high. We expect very high results from our students and for that reason, we have designed an extremely rigorous course. You must be able to put in at least 2 hours every day for up to 8 weeks if you are to complete all our assignments and quizzes on time. Please note that all of the homework tasks have a deadline and if you miss them you will not be able to access them again.

Do you offer a trial class for GMAT Prep in Islamabad and Rawalpindi?

Yes, we do offer two trial classes for GMAT in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. The first two classes of every session can be attended without any cost.

Who writes all the GMAT Questions and how real are they?

We design and edit all the questions ourselves. They are as close to the real questions as possible and reflect a true test-taking experience. We continually update these questions and incorporate new question types that are being currently tested on the GMAT. We do this by closely observing the latest GMAT test questions to make sure that our preparation content is up to the highest level.

We also purchase questions from the official GMAT test creators. A few of the questions have been taken from various sources such as authentic and reliable books and online resources.

Do you think if I prepare for the GMAT exam on my own I will get a good score?

Yes you can. Preparing for the GMAT does not always require coaching or support. Many self-study GMAT aspirants have devoted time and energy to achieve their end. We know many students who have, through hard work and dedication, achieved top scores.

After taking your preparation classes for GMAT, how long can I wait before I take the GMAT test?

We recommend our students take the GMAT exam within 6 weeks after the classes end. The longer you wait, the higher the chances that you will lose momentum and the drive to take the exam.

Can I give the GMAT before your course ends?

We would discourage you from doing that. Our course is extremely well planned and requires 8 weeks to complete. After course completion, you can give the exam within a few weeks.

Is 8 weeks enough to prepare for GMAT?

Usually, it is. However, it really depends on individual circumstances. If you can put in 8-10 hours per week (apart from the classes) for up to 8 weeks, then you will be able to take the exam in 2-3 months.

I missed your GMAT prep class. How can I make it up?

If multiple students miss the same class then we can arrange a cover up weekend class. But that is a rare exception. We highly encourage students to attend all classes in full and we are very strict when it comes to missing our GMAT classes for no reason.

Do I need to buy any outside material for this course?

Not at all. All the preparation material is provided at NO extra charge. The course fee includes the cost of the material and resources.

How difficult are the GMAT prep test questions that you provide your students as part of your course?

We cover a wide range of difficulty from easy to hard and have designed the questions to help you master the content completely. This uniqueness in content is one of the major reasons why we believe Brightlink Prep is one of the leading GMAT preparation academies in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

Can I attend only quant or only verbal classes?

Unfortunately due to the large number of students coming in we are unable to offer partial courses – you will have to take the full course regardless.

What pre-requisites do I need, in order to enroll for a course of GMAT at BrightLink Prep?

You must have taken Math courses at the Intermediate level and have most of your recent education in an English medium environment. GMAT Math is very hard. So if you do not have a math background, then getting a decent score is a major challenge. If that is not the case then we would advise you against taking the GMAT and look for other alternatives instead.

Does your test prep GMAT course concentrate more on the verbal or the quantitative section?

Our course is a balance of the two. However, some students have special needs and they want more attention on certain sections. In this case we give them extra work and exercises.

After I give my GMAT will you be able to help me with my applications to business schools?

We will be more than happy to do that. We offer comprehensive consulting for writing business school essays. Once you get done with your GMAT exam you can then come to us and we will provide you with a comprehensive plan of tackling university applications.

Can I get admission to a business school in the U.S. without taking the GMAT exam?

Unfortunately, GMAT is a mandatory prerequisite for all U.S. business schools. You cannot have it waived. However, you can also take the GRE instead of the GMAT since many Business schools around the globe are now accepting GRE in lieu of the GMAT.

Does your GMAT practice questions reflect the true difficulty level of the actual GMAT questions?

Since we take most of our questions from the official makers of the test, so it does mimic the true difficulty level of the exam. Rest assured that over half of our students go on to do phenomenally well on the exam.
