USA Scholarship in Diplomacy for Pakistani Students, 2014

This scholarship is offered to Pakistani students who want to pursue a 2 year master’s program in International security & diplomacy in the U.S at Denver University.

Sié Chéou-Kang Center for International Security and Diplomacy at the Korbel School, University of Denver is offering 10 scholarships for a graduate level (Masters) program from applicants in the U.S. as well as International students. Pakistani students who want to go to USA for a graduate program in the field of diplomacy can avail this full funded scholarship. This scholarship is only offered to students who want to pursue a 2 year master’s program in International security & diplomacy in the U.S. However please note that you will only be given scholarship for the 2nd year if your performance in the first year is satisfactory. Last date to apply is January 15th 2014.

Eligible Subjects: Masters in International Security & Diplomacy at University of Denver in USA.

Scholarship Provider: University of Denver.

Eligibility: Any student from anywhere in the world including Pakistan who wants to pursue a Master’s degree in international security & diplomacy from university of Denver.

Scholarship Description: The Sié Fellows program is administered by the Kobel school at Denver University. The crux of the program is that global leaders will be required to resolve the world’s challenges. The fellows of this program are expected to adopt successful careers in international leadership after going through a 2 year program of rigorous research, course work with pioneering faculty and leaders. Once they graduate they will become part of the Korbel School alumni which is a close and unified cohort of global leaders. Graduates of this fellowship adopt careers in business, government and policy making. As part of this program you will meet former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright speakers that present in the Public Diplomacy Speaker Series, and many more dignified leaders from around the globe.

Number of Scholarships: Each year ten outstanding master’s degree-seeking students from the US and abroad (including Pakistan) will be awarded.

Duration of Scholarship: The duration of this award is 2 years. The scholarship for the second year is contingent upon getting a 3.25 GPA in the first two semesters.

Award Size: Full Tuition fee

Selection Criteria: At least 16 years of education with a stellar academic, research and professional record.
