  1. i need information about this scholar ship

  2. I was wondering if you happened to know when they usually interview candidates for the scholarship? and whether the formal of the interview is much like that of the fulbright?

    • Hi, Anusheh I am not sure when they do because it is pretty random – yes the interview is exactly the type you would see on Fulbright. All eyes on what you would do when you come back to Pakistan.

  3. It is more of a request instead of a comment, I need financial help/scholarship to continue my Under Graduate studies at USA. I had applied for BS Economics 4 years studies in various universities of USA, purely on academic record and eventually 3 Universities gave acceptance for admission with approx 50% scholarships. Remaining 50% amount is to be deposited before end of Apr 2014. May 1, 2014 is the last date for me to intimate the universities about my willingness to join the course. Due to weak financial position, my parents can only provide me US $ 20000/-(Twenty Thousand US $), remaining amount approximately US $ 880000/- (Eighty Eight Thousand US $) for 4 years study is required by me as financial aid / scholarship. Is their any way that Aga Khan Foundation can help me through scholarship/financial aid, please guide. Following are the details of Universities which offered me scholarship:-

    a. Wesleyan University, Ohio
    b. Hartwick College, Oneonta, New York
    c. Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa

You may ask any further details/ documents in this connection. I,m from Pakistan and residing at Rawalpindi. Looking forward for your reply. Regards, Muhammad Usman Ali

    • Agha Khan can help you definitely. But the problem is AK only helps if you apply through their proper channel. They will NOT make an exception and evaluate your candidacy. Since 31 March was the deadline to apply to them, that has passed now. Therefore it is not of much use to consider AK.
